Bay of Monterey
Poems of Monterey Bay 1983-2008
Below is a selection from this 172-page (in manuscript) collection currently comprising 95 poems. It is soon to be published by Lulu.com.
Here is a statement from the work:
Though not all the places named by these poems are literally located within the boundary of Monterey Bay proper, they can be found within the larger area designated as the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
Also: A companion collection to Bay of Monterey is On The Cruz, Poems of Santa Cruz. Both collections present the parallel running inspirations that begin to bring into form the mythos of place, which today is fundamental to the emerging Mythos of the New Age. There is another work The Giant Santa Cruz Poem that one should imagine as weaving itself through both collections. And there is now in progress Bay of Monterey, The Giant Poem of Monterey Bay.
