Looking for an Agent, etc.

Let me be straightforward here and say that I am looking for agent. I believe there is a right person out there who can help me find a publisher for any one or all of my numerous works. An agent could perhaps represent me for other purposes also. I do guarantee that if the right person connected me to the right publisher that the financial payoff would be more than worth the effort.

Even if you could be the link that puts me in touch with an agent who is willing to represent me to publishers, this would of course be appreciated and garner some reward. Another possibility to consider is simply making a suggestion to an agent or publisher to check out my website; if that resulted in some fruitful contact for me, it would also be most appreciated. Other kinds of contacts I would naturally welcome would be bringing to my attention a possible patron of my work, or even a person or group that would commission me to write a particular work that is planned or already in progress.

Though I am open to any publisher who may wish to consider but one particular work of mine for publication, ideally a publisher might be found who would be interested in publishing a number of my works over time. Now one possible objection here is that, But almost all of your work is poetry-that's a very specialized, minor market, no one, including your agent, is going to make any money publishing poetry. The fact is, not all of my work is poetry, most notably my book length manuscript The New Age Vision, and one must also consider the very nature of my poetry. One must consider the broad range of my poetry, that it is offering a visionary, spiritual, philosophical, theological perspective rarely found in poets today, that many of my works bring scientific subjects into them, that many are narrative, chronicling events and periods of time, that they are readily intelligible (not written so as to be obscure), thereby all implying a much wider potential audience for my work than is usually found with poetry today. I believe I have treasures here only waiting to be discovered. 

I would assume that adequately representing me would entail a certain degree of familiarity with my work and certainly believing in what I am doing. Again, it would be the right person. Becoming my agent and helping to introduce my work to the world I guarantee will be a life-changing experience for you. The financial reward will be there, but the opportunity of co-facilitating the emergence of a new voice in the culture would be, I should think, most exciting and fulfilling.

Collaborations

Other opportunities involving my work would include collaboration of various kinds. I am very open to collaborating with other artists on any number of possible projects. If you would consider my work carefully, you would see the potential here, in particular, for visual artists, in any medium. I have collaborated with musicians a number of times, typically for events, once on a cassette album. I would assume that the creative vision of another artist could see the potential here for working together.
