Advent

Poems for the New Age  1980s - 2008

Below is a selection from this 329-page (in manuscript) collection comprising 167 poems. Future editions will likely be offered.

Here is a statement from the work:

Referred to in the title is the Advent of the Aquarian dispensation, better known as the New Age. Spirit is dispensing to many of us now the next collective lesson of humanity’s evolution. Advent celebrates the coming of this dispensation, and its arrival.

Missing from this edition there are still many poems—perhaps still important poems—not yet written and included in it. Whole sections of the collection are still incomplete. Its major sections have yet to be more clearly defined. In addition, other poems from previous collections will continue to be incorporated into Advent when the proper place for them becomes apparent.

However ambitious Advent is as a work, it but heralds another work that would bring into form the full Mythos of this new World Age we are entering that is known as Aquarius. Advent inaugurates it, and may well be absorbed into what may prove to be an even larger work.

A small number of the poems in this collection have previously appeared under the title Threshold of the Millennium & other poems.  A few shorter poems have previously appeared in Lamp Light. This edition now incorporates nearly all of a previous work, The Lessons of Psyche.
